Dann P, lead singer of the UK rock band Vanton.His unique vocal style is featured on 5 EPICON tracks, including "Prelude" and "Orchard of Mines", which he co-wrote.Globus band members are Dann Pursey, Yoav Goren, Lisbeth Scott, Scott Ciscon, Anneke Van Giersbergen.
Dann P was born in Surrey, England.The core of Globus is essentially a classic rock band, fronted by 24 year old Surrey based Dann Pursey, and featuring Skunk Anansie and Feeder drummer Mark Richardson and Manic Street Preachers’ keyboardist Nick Naysmith.Dann only stumbled upon the Globus project by accident. “I was watching a trailer for the film The Aviator and was blown away by the music”, says Pursey. “I contacted the guy who wrote & produced it, Yoav Goren, to find out if I could rework the track and turn it into a song for my band. Thankfully he agreed…and he must have been pretty happy with the results because here I am!”
He lives with his family on a farm in Surrey, England.Globus performed a hugely successful ‘test’ concert last summer at Wembley. As one of the production managers said, “We’ve done rock bands, we’ve done orchestras, we’ve done choirs….but this was the first time that we’d ever had them all in one enormous show!” A TV special and DVD that captured that incredible show is in the works.
